During the early months of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I went a little nuts, wrote several full-length, spoof Law & Order: SVU spec scripts as a time-consuming bit, and coerced my friends into joining me on Zoom calls where we assigned parts and did table reads.

In Episode 1, the detectives find themselves in a real pickle when a hamburger chain’s heiress appears to be kidnapped, while Stabler impersonates a firefighter to skirt around a suspension from being a cop.

In Episode 2, an infant wearing a fully functioning SCUBA suit is rescued; the detectives attempt to locate the child’s parents, but find themselves in deep, investigating one of the city’s seediest underbellies: its sewer system.
